The PLW20 robotic well plate loader is designed for use with inverted microscopes, including Prior's OpenStand-V. It has a capacity of 20 plates suited to high-content screening applications. 

The system is delivered with Prior's HLD117 linear motor stage as standard to give the highest possible throughput. The stage's exceptional repeatability ensures that it captures regions of interest precisely, even at high magnification. 

Positional feedback sensors on all three axes, an automatic plate detection process together with a reliable, easy-to-set-up loading routine, ensure the system can run independently for long periods without user intervention.

The PLW20's open-source DLL enables OEMs and integrators to develop control software that starts a multiple plate scan at the press of a button.
