The PLW110 Slide Loader greatly increases the versatility of the PLW20 well plate loader by allowing slides, in addition well plates, to be automatically loaded. Each slide loader can contain up to 4 slides and up to 20 holders can be accommodated by the well plate loader, meaning that up to eighty slides can be automatically loaded, scanned and unloaded. Almost completely automated, repeatable and efficient scanning of large number of slides on an inverted microscope is now possible.
The slide loader can accommodate the vast majority of conventionally sized (25mm x 75mm) microscope slides. No modifications to the loader itself are needed–it is simply placed in position as if it was a conventional well plate.
The PLW110 will be ideal for imaging facilities, allowing a much large range of sample types to benefit from the speed, efficiency and automation of the PLW20 well plate loader.
