The LumaSpec 800 is a compact spectrophotometer providing spectral power data for illumination systems. Using an illumination
target in a standard slide format, the LumaSpec 800 is able to provide details for the illumination at the most important location on the sample plane. Using the intuitive software provided free with the device, the LumaSpec 800 provides quantitative and graphical information from 350 nm to 800
nm with 1.5 nanometre resolution, with the ability to import previously saved spectra for comparative purposes. Furthermore, it is
simple to export and save the spectral data to Microsoft Excel.
The LumaSpec 800 can compare the performance of different illumination systems, illumination systems with different or no filter
sets, as well as quantifying the consistency of illumination over time down to milliseconds to match exposure times, and assist with
quantitative and/or ratiometric imaging.
