New Queensgate Objective Positioner: affordable market-leading accuracy and superior step-settle time

Queensgate has launched its latest addition to the OP family of piezo objective positioners. The OP200 offers superior step-settle times over the OP400, whilst retaining market-leading positioning accuracy and resolution at an attractive price.

Its key features include:  

• 200 μm closed loop travel range.  

• High-stiffness (1.3 N/µm) provides class-leading step settle performance. 20 µm (10 %) step sub-8 ms with 150 g load.  

• Stainless steel construction provides mechanical stiffness and temperature stability for fast movements and low drift.  

It is compatible with most microscope models and objective lenses with user-configurable settings to accommodate different objective sizes and weights as well as performance needs.   

Designed for applications requiring high-speed, precision movements in the 200 µm range, it is ideal for high-throughput applications such as semiconductor inspection, autofocus systems for time-lapse imaging, high content screening and surface analysis.
