Prior Scientific has introduced new variants of the H117 motorized stages that are specifically designed for Evident (previously Olympus) IX85 inverted microscopes.
The stages' flat-top design enables seamless integration with stage-top incubation systems and allows flexible positioning of peripheral equipment around samples. This makes them particularly well suited to complex imaging operations in research settings.
Incorporating Prior's patented Intelligent Scanning Technology (IST), the stages deliver optimized accuracy and linearity. Direct compatibility with Prior’s NanoScan SP Series z-axis piezo stages further enhances their capabilities for precision imaging applications. These stages are compatible with the IX85’s new motorized objective correction collar and numerous other advanced modules.
The new H117 stages feature a standard configuration with a 1mm pitch ballscrew and 400 step motor for maximum resolution. A 200-step/2 mm ballscrew configuration is also available in selected regions for applications requiring higher speeds. Both configurations are available with optional encoders for exceptional long-range repeatability and improvements in accuracy. The H117 stages for IX85 also offer improved squareness, providing improved suitability for scanning larger samples, taking advantage of the IX85 microscopes market leading field number.
With these features providing exceptional performance, the H117 for IX85 is the best motorized stage for multipoint time-lapse imaging, multiple image acquisition (MIA); stitching of large areas; and scanning 96- of 384-well plates. The stage is fully integrated with Evident’s CellSens software, making these operations simple and intuitive.
