The HF108FC filter cube turret from Prior Scientific enhances flexibility and efficiency in multi-color fluorescence imaging.
Prior Scientific has extended its range of motorized microscope automation components with the addition of the HF108FC motorized filter cube turret. Fully programmable and designed for use with 25mm or 32mm Nikon format filter cubes, it allows users to optimize speed and acceleration to their imaging requirements.
The filter cube turret is suitable for upright and inverted imaging systems. Its fast 200 ms switching time between adjacent positions not only enables fast sensitive multi-color imaging but also reduces the risk of photobleaching in live cell imaging and enables better temporal resolution. With 8 positions, the HF108C is suitable for high-plex imaging, allowing users to image up to 8 channels in a single sample.
It is compatible with Prior’s OpenStand system, ProScan controllers, and other components, such as the HF108B high-speed filter wheel. The HF108FC includes mounting points for easy integration into OEM systems and is compatible with most imaging software.
Typical applications in life sciences include fluorescence microscopy, confocal and super-resolution microscopy, and automated high-content screening. The turret is also suitable for industrial imaging and is compatible with reflected darkfield and polarisation modalities.
